Is there a part of you that knows there was supposed to be more to life?

Maybe you remember a younger version of yourself who wondered what might have happened if you had been freer to be yourself. Maybe today you’re tired of simply getting through and long to feel something awaken.

Perhaps you see it in children—their wonder, their absorption in play, the way they inhabit their own lives—and something in you whispers, I want that, too.

I believe that longing matters. It may be pointing you toward something.

Welcome. I’m Heather (she/her), and I’m glad you’re here.

I believe therapy can be a place to listen to the parts of ourselves that have been waiting to be heard—the parts that learned to adapt, protect, strive, stay small, or hold everything together. Together, we can become curious about what has shaped you, with compassion rather than judgment, making room for what hurts alongside what wants to grow.

I work with adults, individuals and couples, across gender expressions and identities. I support clients navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, attachment and relationship concerns, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, autism, schizoaffective disorder, suicide survivorship, and body image concerns.

I have a particular passion for supporting individuals and couples through infertility and alternative paths to family building, including fertility treatment, donor conception, adoption, and surrogacy. These journeys can hold so much at once—hope and grief, longing and uncertainty, joy and loss. Therapy can be a place where all of it has somewhere to go.

And I love working with artists and creative people, whether or not you make art professionally. I’m interested in the parts of us that want to create, play, imagine, and express—and what happens when those parts have been quiet for a while.

I’m also deeply interested in matrescence—the profound reshaping of identity that can accompany becoming a mother—and what is sometimes called Mother Hunger, the longing for maternal love, attunement, protection, or support.

Maybe you’re seeking relief from pain. Maybe you’re navigating a transition and wondering who you’re becoming. Maybe you’ve spent years caring for everyone else and lost touch with what you want. Or maybe a quiet part of you has begun to wonder whether there might be more life available to you.

You don’t have to know exactly how to find it.

We can listen for it together.

I offer in-person and telehealth therapy. Wherever we meet, I want our time together to feel like a place where you can slow down, be honest, listen inward, and explore what matters to you with compassion and curiosity.

A place to come home to yourself.

A place to live.
